    PLEASE GO ONTO IXL FOR AT LEASE TWENTY MINUTES EVERY NIGHT.  I HAVE STARRED LEVELS AND SKILLS THAT YOU SHOULD USE.  START AT A COMFORTABLE LEVEL AND THEN GO UP TO SOMETHING THAT IS CHALLENGING.

    MONDAY:  Read pattern words.  Highlight or circle vowels or vowel pairs.  SAY THE SOUNDS  aloud while you are highlighting- (HOMONYMS- WORDS THAT SOUND THE SAME BUT ARE SPELLED DIFFERENTLY AND HAVE DIFFERENT MEANINGS)    Write red words (STRAIGHT, BUSY) 3x each.  Say each letter aloud while you are writing.  You can put the word on your arm again to reinforce multisensory method.

                      Math homework is due on Friday- it is up to you to schedule when you are working on this.  I suggest you do a bit every night.  PLEASE WORK ON ROUNDING NUMBERS, MISSING ADDENDS, SEQUENCING, AND WORD PROBLEMS IN IXL

    TUESDAY:  Write 3 sentences for three of your words.  Use C.O.P.S. (capitalization, organization, punctuation, spelling) to check each sentence. Write red words 3x each.  Say each letter aloud while you are writing.  Math homework is due on Friday.

    Wednesday:  Write 3 sentences for three other spelling words.  Write red words 3x each.  Say each letter aloud while you are writing.  Math homework is due on Friday.

    Thursday:  Read the sound of the week story.  Write red words 3x each.  Say each letter aloud while you are writing.  Math homework is due tomorrow!  Spelling test is tomorrow!
