Norwood Public School Library
Welcome to the NPS Library! Please take a moment to review the library policies.
· Kindergarten – 5th grade students may check out one book at a time. The loan period is 1 week with the ability of renewal provided the title is not on reserve by another student.
· 6th through 8th grades may check out two books at a time. The loan period is 2 weeks with the ability of renewal provided the title is not on reserve by another student.
· Due to the popular demand of new titles, students may request a book be placed on reserve and a notification will be sent to them during homeroom once the book becomes available.
Checking Out eBooks
The Library is happy to offer eBooks! Please visit the NPS Library website for more information at www.wearenorwood.org
Any student with an overdue book may not borrow a new book until the overdue book is returned. Periodically, the library distributes overdue book notices to serve as reminders that the materials need to be returned. We do not charge overdue fines. Please note that the notices automatically include the price of the book, but they are not intended to be bills.
Lost or Damaged Books
In the event that a book is lost or irreparably damaged, the library will charge the family for the replacement cost of the book. Payments may be made in cash or by check made payable to Norwood Public School.
Any question regarding the NPS Library program, please feel free to contact Mrs. Rienas at Rienas@nvnet.org.
